Nosey by Nature

Why? Why? Why? A question that is both popular with children and communications professionals. At CoCo, we will never grow old of asking our clients ‘why?’, you could say we have the enthusiasm and energy of an inquisitive toddler! We are nosey by nature, and the ability to sniff out stories is a skill we’re immensely proud of. After all, every business has an interesting story to tell; it’s just a matter of asking the right questions.

You might think ‘nosey’ would be an unusual way to describe our style, but our notoriously nosey approach is something that CoCo takes very seriously. The Cambridge Dictionary defines nosiness as ‘too interested in what other people are doing and wanting to discover too much about them’. In our line of work, we are genuinely interested in what you are doing and want to discover ‘too much’ about you! Our sincere curiosity for your business allows us to create and seed the best content to interest your audiences and, in turn, position your business in the market.

What does it mean to be ‘notoriously nosey’ in practice? It all comes down to dialling up our storytelling radar while primed and ready with the questions that your audiences really want to know. The landscape of business and marketing is rapidly changing and taking a salesy approach to communication is now obsolete. Much like us, your customers are seeking out the ‘why’ factor to your product or service.

Why do you do what you do?

Why should your customers choose you?

Why should your staff care?

Why will your industry and community benefit?

…and that’s just for starters! We’re sure you know the answer why, but how do you articulate this from an idea into a story? That’s where we nosey communicators come in; we can take your tale and use our imagination and creativity to shape it into something special.

We are so proud of our nosey status at CoCo, we even asked what our clients thought! Turns out, we are pretty nosey after all.

“I’ve worked with Collaborative Comms since its inception almost 5 years ago.  I consider Karen, Hannah and Will an important part of my team.  They are so nosey, always looking for ways to understand more about the services we offer and the value we bring to our clients. MMG has been accountants in Dundee for more than 100 years, and their fresh approach challenges our thinking and provides us with exciting creative ideas as our business continues to grow.”   – Paul Crichton, Managing Director, MMG, Dundee UK

If you think your business would benefit from an injection of nosey parkers, don’t hesitate to say hello. We are ready and waiting to sniff out your stories, and one thing’s for sure, we won’t be minding our own business, but we’ll definitely be supporting yours.
